Job Title: Federal Procurement Professional, Consultant (8-10 week project, 10 hours per week) Location: Remote Job Type: Consulting Project Introduction: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Federal Procurement Professional with in-depth knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in managing and overseeing the procurement process for federal contracts and acquisitions. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute comprehensive procurement strategies aligned with federal regulations and organizational objectives. Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential vendors and suppliers. Prepare and issue solicitations, requests for proposals (RFPs), and invitations for bids (IFBs) in compliance with FAR. Evaluate proposals and bids from vendors, ensuring adherence to FAR requirements and evaluation criteria. Negotiate contracts and terms with vendors to achieve favorable pricing and conditions while mitigating risks. Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to understand their procurement needs and requirements. Maintain accurate procurement documentation and records as per FAR guidelines. Monitor contract performance and compliance throughout the lifecycle of agreements. Provide guidance and training to internal staff on federal procurement regulations and processes. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Public Administration, or a related field (advanced degree preferred). Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal procurement and contracting. Extensive knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and related federal procurement laws and regulations. Strong understanding of government contracting procedures, including cost and price analysis, negotiation techniques, and contract administration. Experience with various types of federal contracts (e.g., fixed-price, cost-reimbursement, IDIQ). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders. Detail-oriented and organized, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in procurement software and tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle) preferred. Relevant professional certifications such as Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM) or Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) is a plus.

Key Responsibilities: - Market and Research Analysis: Conduct in-depth research on federal market trends and procurement methodologies to identify new contract opportunities and assess their viability. - Strategic Insight Development: Develop comprehensive insights and recommendations to inform capture strategies and competitive positioning for government contracts. -Opportunity Identification: Utilize advanced research techniques and tools to uncover and evaluate upcoming federal contracting opportunities. -Competitive Intelligence: Perform detailed analyses of competitors, including capabilities, past performance, and strategy to inform our approach and differentiation. -Collaboration with Proposal Teams: Provide critical research findings and strategic insights to proposal development teams, ensuring proposals are aligned with the government’s requirements and objectives. -Stakeholder Engagement: Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials and industry experts, to gather intelligence and insights on government needs and priorities. -Reporting and Presentation: Prepare and present detailed reports on research findings, market analysis, and strategic recommendations to senior management and cross-functional teams. Qualifications: -Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Political Science, or related field; Master’s degree preferred. -Minimum of 5 years’ experience in research or strategy within the federal government contracting space. -Expert knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and procurement processes. -Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and methodologies. -Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively. -Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and to engage with stakeholders at all levels. -U.S. citizenship may be required for certain positions due to security clearance requirements
