Strong technical abilities are displayed by the HTML Specialist, who is proficient in HTML code and fully conversant with web development software and tools including CSS, Photoshop, and Dreamweaver. The person in this role collaborates closely with the marketing department staff to help create HTML codes, both new and old, that are utilized in university email campaigns. This role can, on occasion, work under pressure to interpret instructions from internal creatives, clients, and staff into error-free email code. This is a work from home, remote position. Important Duties and Accountabilities 1. Complete proficiency with web development tools and technologies, including Dreamweaver, HTML, CSS, and Photoshop. It takes specialized understanding of email coding. 2. Excellent technical abilities, such as proficiency with HTML, the capacity to diagnose code and application problems, and the capacity to explain HTML and email best practices for our company 3. Support the provision of quality assurance for correct email coding; set up link tracking as necessary (primarily to fix Dreamweaver errors); extract reporting to obtain fundamental send and deliverability data; upload text/HTML content to email platform to guarantee optimal performance across range of email clients. 4. Continue to investigate HTML best practices and stay up to date on new and upcoming technologies. You should also periodically examine what rivals in higher education are doing to keep their audiences engaged. Provide feedback and make presentations at important meetings to educate others. 5. Display a strong work ethic, exceptional attention to detail, and sophisticated time-management, organizational, and task-prioritization abilities. 6. Capable of efficiently managing and communicating requests for content changes and meeting production deadlines in close collaboration with marketing departments. Credentials, Qualifications, and Competencies Requirements include a four-year degree in computer science or a related subject, six months of experience, and a thorough understanding of Photoshop, Microsoft Office, and front-end coding languages (such as HTML and CSS). efficient written and verbal communication.
