Job Description:
We are looking for a talented and motivated Freelance Product Analyst to join our team on a project basis. As a Product Analyst, you will play a crucial role in analyzing product performance, identifying opportunities for improvement, and providing insights to drive product strategy and development. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data, generate reports, and make data-driven recommendations.
Responsibilities:
Data Collection and Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to product performance, user behavior, market trends, and competitive landscape.
Performance Metrics: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and effectiveness.
User Insights: Conduct user research, surveys, and interviews to gather insights into user preferences, needs, and pain points.
Feature Analysis: Evaluate existing product features and propose enhancements or new features based on data analysis and user feedback.
Market and Competitive Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor products, pricing strategies, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and threats.
Reporting and Visualization: Create clear and actionable reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
Collaboration: Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, and marketing teams to align on product goals, priorities, and strategies.
Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry best practices, tools, and technologies related to product analytics and data-driven decision making.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Product Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role in product management or analytics.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, or similar.
Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar for creating impactful reports and dashboards.
Understanding of product management concepts, agile methodologies, and software development lifecycle.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Economics, Statistics, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
