    As our consulting company moves into the cloud, we need our software to move into the cloud as well. Unfortunately, the import feature for converting from QB to QBO is only available in the USA. Our loss, your gain! ~~All of this is in relation to our F2013, which is Jan1-Dec31st~~ After six months suffering through QB desktop, we attempted to migrate to Xero with a Jan 1st start - thus we have duplicate entries in QB desktop & Xero for the first part of the year. The second part of the year is only in Xero, but the chart of accounts differ. Thus, this is a task appropriate to a more advanced bookkeeper, accountant, or finance individual. We require the following: - Setup of QBO with Chart of Accounts* - Ensure start of year adjustments / conversion balances are accurate. - Re-enter all invoices (from Xero) - Re-enter all payments against invoices - Apply payments against invoices - Re-enter all bills - Re-enter all bill payments - Confirm bills are allocated correctly (mixed allocations in Xero / QB) - Apply payments against invoices - Update & confirm cheque registry (there were some syncing issues & cheque #s are missing from the registry, but #s are visible on bank statements) - Update & confirm client & vendor information - Review & confirm HST (Canadian taxes) have been tracked properly on invoices & bills - Setup payroll accounts & employees (everything minus SIN). - Review payroll information, ensure allocated properly** To give you more of an idea, we typically send out 5-10 invoices a month, do 20-30 MC transactions, plus 15-30 bank transactions. *We already have a Chart of Accounts from QB, but it doesn't map perfectly to QBO.
