SMUGGLER, an LA-based Production Company, needs a coder experienced in creating email signatures. Ideal candidate would be able to faithfully recreate a mockup in HTML+CSS. Experience with automated testing of the signature across different platforms and devices is a must. Formatting of phone numbers and addresses must remain consistent.

We are requesting a designer/developer to take the lead on a revision of our site, concentrating on a new layout/theme to improve both ease of use for ourselves and our clients. The site functions as a middleware application for the collection of and reporting of banner advertising data. The data in question is loaded locally from third party databases, and then consolidated and formatted for reporting to our clients. Submission of data and files is conducted by both the company and clients, and then sent to the third party server which places these advertising assets and then provides raw performance data. This data is then collected and re-formatted for reporting to our clients. While the actual transfer of these data elements falls outside the scope of this project, a basic understanding of these functions will be necessary to efficiently complete the necessary changes. We are looking to change our current page layout and add CSS to support these changes. Most of the this redesign involves functional and cosmetic changes to the backend of the site, so as to simplify the display of data for the client's customer service department. Sample sites with layout/elements we would like to replicate for a new preferred layout will be provided. The current layout has been built over the past three years, with functionality added to this framework over time. A lesser amount of tasks will also involve changes to the reporting pages that are accessed by the clients directly. Data for the site database is collected from external sources via an API and stored locally in it's own separate MySQL database. The host server is a LAMP server (using PHP 7.3). Most of the code is PHP, but there is also a fair amount of javascript applied to support user interaction and PHP AJAX calls for data/file submissions. The site in question runs on a WordPress frontend. However, WordPress itself is not used for any of the functionality of the site (excepting header & footer). The WordPress platform is used solely for user access and creation of invoices. All site pages are pure HTML/PHP/CSS code built upon a completely blank WordPress template page within the theme. All page design will be done outside of WordPress (so WYSYWIG editing will not be available). While direct coding in PHP is neither required (or necessary for the scope of this project), knowledge of design and implementation of this project does involve the need to place current (or any added) PHP elements within the proposed new HTML structure. You will be assisted/guided by an existing third party database/PHP developer for any needs you may require to complete these design changes. A full development site (equivalent to our live site) currently exists and will be the focus of these redesign activities.
