Aggregator for online courses

Aggregator for online courses

Closed - This job posting has been filled and work has been completed.

Job Description

We're building "an aggregator for online courses" to help seekers easily find the courses they need, compare and join (Check www.kayak.com, an aggregator for flights, hotels...etc).

We want to do the same concept of kayak.com to aggregate courses from:
www.edx.org,
www.coursera.org,
www.udacity.com,
www.khanacademy.com,
www.codeacademy.com,
www.udemy.com,
www.lynda.com,
and some others

There will be an "admin dashboard" for the webpage admin to add/edit/delete courses through a form.

There will be also "a course provider dashboard" for course providers to add/edit/delete courses through a form (similar to the one used by the admin).

The key here is that the admin has to approve courses published by the course provider and that functionality will also be available via the "admin dashboard"

Users (students) will login with their Facebook, twitter, or linkedin accounts, search for the course they want based on their preference, filter courses using course filter bar, and select the appropriate course they want to get directed to the relevant webpage of the course provided by the third parties. Also course providers will sign in with their linkedin, facebook, or twitter accounts.

Other building blocks include google analytics and www.olark.com customer service and will host it on AWS.

We're looking for agile developers who understand A/B and split testing and can be quite flexible with the UX/UI.

Time is the major constraint and we want to have the website published on Monday Nov 26. So only apply to the job if you think you can finish it in a week from Monday 19 Nov and you have the full skill set to do it from scratch. You may want to include designers and QAs in your firm or circle of friends.

We can have a chat on skype for clarification. Then you can submit your proposal including time frame, cost of development, number of hours, language recommendation, framework recommendation, and whatever sections you think will make you standout from the crowd as a contractor. It's a plus if you have experience with education and/or aggregator websites. It's also a plus if you can suggest the wireframes for the user, admin dashboard, and course provider dashboard

Looking forward to hearing from you!
