Free career site offering virtual assistant jobs and projects. Job seekers must register to apply. Employers must register to post. Virtual Assistant searchable 'directory' with profiles of available workers. Free certifications (virtual assistants complete online and add certification badges to their profiles). Job seekers can set up notifications and job alerts. Employers can contact job seekers via inbox/private messaging. Site should include:

Blog

Badges with stats (number of people who have taken the test, average score, etc similar to ODESK)

Resource area (including hourly rate calculator, example http://freelanceswitch.com/resources-directory/)

Homepage slider or tabbed sections for Job seekers, Employers, Certifications, similar to ifreelance.com or guru.com


Site is similar to Odesk, Linkedin, and freelanceswitch

Site is fully compatible with opt in procedures and spamcan rules

I. Home Page

- Job feed showing last 10-20 jobs entered

- "featured" vot VA's (ranked based on badges, hits, logins and content)

- registration box to easily register as a Virtual Assistant (job seeker) by simply entering email address

- employers post project or job free button/link

- small popup window "welcome" with cookie set for logged in users (see welovefestivals.com)

- Link to VA Match (directory of job seekers profiles) with scroll of photos and personal stories such as http://simplicityconsultinginc.com/

Non registered or logged in users should get "teaser" content only. For example - http://jobs.freelanceswitch.com

Users can see list of jobs and basic job info but will see a "must login or register" button instead of how to apply information or company contact details


1. Virtual Assistants (job seekers)

a. Register easily from homepage by simply entering email

b. Virtual Assistants Profiles (similar to visualcv.com): picture, bio, resume, and VOT badges earned

- screen capture their va website when they enter URL

- link up their twitter, Facebook and linkedin profiles

- display a "% complete" (similar to Linkedin) when VA is logged in and suggests next steps

- display badges (certifications) completed and greyed out ones that have not been completed (similar to Foursquare)

- displays "suggested jobs" when va is logged in based on keywords/categories found in profile

- see "activity" feed (users logged in, job seekers viewing jobs, employers posting/updating jobs, employers viewing profile categories, etc)

- personal blog (posts will appear in list on virtual assistants profile page and in VOT main blog)

- set and manage notifications/subscriptions, select job categories to receive email from when new jobs are posted or updated, when profile is viewed, etc

- allow job seekers to "follow" or "favorite" jobs and projects

- user admin area allowing job seekers to change profile background, notifications, edit content, password, access saved jobs, access inbox, etc)

- set cookie "remember me" & "forgot password" options

- logged in users will see "how to apply" information and/or "apply now" button on jobs and projects

- ability to search jobs via category or keyword

- each job seeker profile page should include modules for affiliate banner/text ad rotations which job seeker cannot alter

c. VA Match - directory of all profiles

- all content open to web and ability to search without login required EXCEPT contact details (email/phone, etc). MUST BE LOGGED IN EMPLOYER TO COMMUNICATE VIA INBOX

- button/link at bottom will say "must be registered employer to contact this virtual assistant"

- keyword searchable and browse via job category

- data on top ranked Va's based on certifications, profile views, content, logins, projects completed, jobs earned etc

- top ranked will appear first with highlights

- button/link on each job page where LOGGEDIN job seekers can notify us that they were hired for the job listed. This data would appear under "recent VOT jobs" on their profile page.


2. EMPLOYERS

a. free registration

b. set up profile including company bio, links, contacts, logo, etc

c. post jobs or projects, manage their jobs, edit, delete, etc Also ability to list indefinitely

d. ability to inbox/private message job seekers and vot admin

e. ability to save, favorite or 'follow' job seekers

d. ability to mass-message everyone who has applied




3. CERTIFICATIONS

a. Odesk style tests, timed, multiple choice, pass/fail, automatic results, limitations on retakes
