Javascript Eclipse Debugging Tutoring

Javascript Eclipse Debugging Tutoring

Cancelled

Job Description

After trying for two hours to get to debug javascript in an Eclipse Web Project without much success, I'v decided I would call on the experts to show me how it's done.

My end goal is that I know how to debug javascript running in a Chrome and Mozilla browser (bonus point for IE too) from Eclipse. This means I want to use the Eclipse debugger to debug and edit my javascript, NOT the Chrome Dev Tools. I need to really understand how the debugging process work though, not just "press here, there, and it works magically!". I would also like to know how to get the live edit feature to work.

I would also like to know how to setup, run and debug a nodejs server and debug node scripts from eclipse.

Additionally, I need to understand how Eclipse sets up a web server and how it allows me to access the html of a Web Project from an external browser.

I'm an experienced c++ software developper, just not familiar with javascript/web developpement, so technical explanations won't scare me.

This project should be exceptionally simple for someone who already does work with these tools.
