Writer needed to create two or three posts per week for recruitment website specialising in nonprofit, government and community sector jobville.com.au
Most posts will be 300-400 words in length and be inspired by media coverage of the sector - trends in employment, job interview tips, unemployment figures etc. Your words will introduce the link, encourage clicking through and create SEO-savvy content.
I will provide the articles to link to.
Some stories will be relevant to job seekers, others to recruiters and HR professionals.
Often you will simply need to paraphrase a summary of a newspaper article add some content and link to the story. You'll need to have a sense of ownership over the task, its content and be keen to create useful, relevant content.
Content must be snappy, savvy, easily comprehensible.
You will need more than just writing skills however...
Attention to basic SEO required along with understanding of WordPress CMS as I want the writer to post the blogs themselves; inserting images, links, tags and creating suitable page titles. However good, clear and regular content is top priority.
I will send you more instructions once hired.
This is an ongoing position. Do not take this position if you cannot meet this regular commitment - 1hr per week for the two pieces.
To get this position you will need to be a native English speaker, able to write copy with verve, have news sense, and be a reliable, communicative worker.
You will need significant Odesk experience and great reviews.
