Are you the cutting edge, process-smoothing, and incredibly efficient Java Engineer we have been looking for? If so, we need you on our newly formed development teams! We created this position specifically to add talented Chinese software engineers to work closely with our international team distributed around the globe.
As a Java Engineer, you will spend your time on GTeam’s own portfolio of software products and consulting on clients' products. You will maintain them on EC2 images and ensure that all parts of the build, product maintenance, tech stack migrations, automated testing, deployment, code coverage, and test development run smoothly. You will be expected to take part in automating our processes to deliver short turnaround times and reliable results. For the manual tasks, we develop efficient processes to manage projects and to let our team members focus on areas in their expertise.
This full time (40 hours/week) position pays $7.50/hour. As a member of our team, you have the convenience of working directly from your own home and at the same time, work with the best international team of software engineers.
To succeed, you’ll need:
Java programming experience
Linux experience is required
English - all candidates must be able to speak and write capably in English.
Video - candidates must be able to Skype video with clients and the team.

2. Try out the job!
During a three day fixed-price evaluation period ($200, upon successful completion), your assigned hiring manager will give you a task similar to what you might do during a real day of work here if you were hired. The hiring manager will evaluate your performance on this task to make sure that your problem solving skills are suitable for the team. We’re looking for progress and dedication. If this evaluation goes well, we welcome you to the team with a full-time contract!
