Consolidate Magento Websites.
I have several magento websites that I want to merge into one. They all have the same products, but different designs:
Magento website 1, webhost 1, database 1 (magento version 184.108.40.206) is the oldest, and increasingly has problems with the code. It has its own product database, There are about 100 sales in the sales database. This site continuously produces sales without any promotion.
Magento website 2, webhost 2, database 2 (magento version 1.5.1) was an attempt to update website 1. It is a newer version of magento and has a more streamlined design. It has its own product database and about 5 sales in the sales database. This site does not produce sales without promotion.
Magento website 3, webhost 3, database 3 (magento version 1.7) is the most recent design. It was set up from scratch but it includes some design elements from website 2. It has its own product database and about 2 sales in the sales database. This site does not produce sales without promotion.
Magento website 4, webhost 3, database 3 (magento version 1.7) is a design study with a different layout. It uses the same database as website 3 for products and sales. It is unfinished and there are no sales to date.
Additionally, there is the original old core website (#0):
PHP website #0, webhost #0, mysql database #0 with a proprietary ecommerce design (php). This website has thousands of sales in its database.
This is what I want to do:
Phase out website 1: Merge sales from website 1 into the central database 3 from website 3.Transfer the "link juice" from website 1 to website 2 in the new location.
Move website 2: Move website 2 to the host of website 3 and tie it in to the central database 3
Synchronize databases: Create a routine that allows for synchonization of the database 3 and database (#0), so that sales can easily be exported from one database and entered into the second database.
