We are looking to see if we can have some custom development done on our WHMCS install. In short we would like to modify how the ordering/billing process starts for customers who sign up for recurring services via the shopping cart on our website. The behavior we would like to see is that a customer signs up but invoicing does not start until we approve the order/activate the service in WHMCS. Currently when a customer signs up online an invoice is generated that day and begins the recurring cycle. We would like to control when that starts on our side as we have a lag time between when customers sign up and when the service is activated for their use (we are an ISP and need to dispatch an installer to setup the service).
