I'm looking for someone who can build me a fairly simple and straightforward Wordpress plugin which allows me to enter values into a database, on a daily basis.
The way the plugin will be used is mainly as follows: A Wordpress administrator will log on to the backend every working day at 16h00 to register the expiration value and the daily values for the next working day (see sketch). E.g., on Monday the values for Tuesday will be registered, Tuesday for Wednesday, Wednesday for Thursday, Thursday for Friday, and on Friday the values for the next Monday will be registered. At the end of every week the second column (see sketch) will also be filled for the next week. And every second Friday of the month, the values for the coming month are provided.
The values that are put in to the plugin should be stored in a database so they can be retrieved for displaying on a different page, something similar to this: http://detail.herokuapp.com. Each column should be saveable individually with a validation for all values to be stored in the right format. Another option should be to save all values simultaneously. See the sketch for a graphical representation.
In addition, it should be possible to create another tab with the same fields that need filling out; these tabs are referred to as 'regions' in the sketch and should also be accessible as a dropdown submenu in the Wordpress main menu on the left (not in sketch). By doing so, the numbers can be registered for different regions. The way these values are best stored in the database (prefix or new table) can be discussed upon taking the job.
I'll have more small projects like this coming up in the near future..
