OpenGL Shader for iOS app

We need a blur filter written in OpenGL for an iOS photo app.
We're using GPUImage, an open source library programmed via an objective-c interface that allows you to apply GPU-accelerated filters and other effects to images, live camera video, and movies. We're currently using GPUImage's built in gaussian blur filter but it's causing pixellation at high blur values so we need a custom blur filter written. Just for still images from the camera feed and the photo app.
