We are looking for a UI/UX designer to work on a prototype design for an social powered live event discovery engine. The app is 70% complete and it will be your duty to go through it and polish the design and user experience process.
Some of the job requirements will be:
- Designing Wireframes for different screens. (Web & Mobile)
- Design user interaction workflow
- Design graphics, images, icons, borders, grids, buttons and icons. (All graphic elements.)
- Suggest usability issues or improvements
- If possible also do the frontend coding for this (this is not a requirement but would be a bonus)
At this time, we are only requesting bid to design 3 or 4 wireframe screens. The selected Vendor (or individual) is required to sign a NDA, detailed requirements will be provided after the NDA is in place. We will hire 3-5 designers from ODesk for this task, compare and select ONE for the entire web application.
PLEASE don’t apply if you are new to web & mobile UI design or don’t have an impressive portfolio to share.
We are looking for modern, simple and elegant designs. Sample application layouts will be provided. We require a browser independent design – must work on Internet Explorer, Safari, Chrome and Firefox.
WIreframes/Functioning Prototype using Axure or Balsamiq will be great as deliverable, CSS/HTML/Jquery will be even better but can live with PSD mock up.
It will be a Data driven application. The goal is to make it as easy, simple and quick as possible for users to scan through tons of event data to find ones they are interested in.
As the UI/UX Designer and Usability expert on the team you will get to shape greatly the feel and look of the application. From suggesting new features to simplify the user experience to even eliminating some. We want to work with someone who has opinions and loves to share them.
In the cover please include examples of past web applications you have worked on as a UI/UX and Usability Expert.
Please let us know if you are also able to do front end coding work for this project, again this is not a required skill but might help move things more smoothly.
Tell us why you are the best candidate for this project.
Thanks and good luck everyone!
