A Visual Basic app developer is needed to make sure that an app I have written actually runs from the test area of the Chrome Web Store.
I am still modifying the app, so I do not yet want it made public. I just want to emulate it on the desktop for now.
The app is written in NsBasic’s AppStudio and it runs OK on this software’s desktop emulation facility.
I have followed NsBasic’s Tech Note 10
which explains how to upload my app’s zipped package, containing the app’s html file, its icons and a .json file, to the Chrome Web Store Developer site. So the app is now “published” in the testing area.
The problem is, when I try to run it from Chrome, the Chrome debugger shows 42 errors that I do not understand.
These errors are of two kinds, as follows:
(1) Failed to load resource chrome-extension://bkljmkjeidgpccbk
(2) Refused to execute inline script because it violates the following Content Security Policy directive: "script-src 'self' chrome-extension-resource:".
I would think anyone who knows how to fix these errors (I don’t) would only take about one hour to do so.
