We are looking for an experienced Moodle + PHP developer who is able to upgrade Moodle to the latest version.
This site has an integration with Amember Pro, so knowledge of that software is an advantage.
There are several customisations to the install with some minimal (as minimal as possible for my clients needs) changes to the core libraries of Moodle and Amember. Wherever possible all other changes are external to core.
Those changes are required for the running of the site as described by the client and are mostly to handle differing member and user types.
All code is in an SVN repository and it is expected that you use this for any changes.
I am looking for someone to regularly upgrade as required and to do bugfixes as they are reported.
The site has 2000 regular visitors a month and is a genuine non-profit organisation aimed at an older user base.
This is fairly urgent in the short term.
I will expect you to be using debugging tools such as Xdebug or Zend Debugger and to comment any changes that are made.
The previous developer has recently moved on and we are looking on oDesk for a replacement.
