Website Wedding Planning Tools

Job Description

I'm looking for the development of a series of tools for a wedding website .

Iintially the tools will be developed for the web, but ultimately they might be built into a mobile app and I'd like only one code base to need maintaining. So I am looking for someone to use Zend 10.0 or similar to build. I don't care what you use as long as it
1) Is PHP based
2) Can be dropped into a CMS system such as Wordpress or Drupal
3) Allows the solution ultimately to be transferred to a multi-platform mobile app with the minimum redevelopment.

Preference will be given to technical solutions that address point 3.

Ultimately, once we develop the mobile versions I also need the data to be synchronous across platforms.

What do I mean by this? If someone uses the application on their smartphone. The next time they log in on the website and use the application there, it brings up the same data that they entered on the smartphone version.

So, in summary we are developing for the web intially but with one eye on developing mobile versions in the future. - this will be a different project.

The tools should be accessible only to people that first log in to the website, so they need to tie into a user login on the CMS system.

In terms of the functionality of the application, I want the following. You can log in to the website hitched.co.uk to see similar tools.

Please answer the following question first in your quote so I know you actually read the full brief. What is the capital of France?

I'm more interested in hearing about how you plan to tackle the project technically than in seeing your portfolio, although obviously preference will be given to candidates that can display similar work in their portfolio. Please only submit portfolio items that are relevant for the project. I don't have time to review 20 different websites from 40 different candidates.

Preference will be given to candidates I feel have actually written to me rather than candidates I feel are spamming a cut and paste letter to every job they can find.

I'm looking for fixed prices on this job, there will be little overspend available and I'm looking for completion within 6-8 weeks.

Apologies to anyone who has previously submitted applications to my similar listed jobs on here, but the clients requirements have changed due to budgetary restrictions and my technical requirements have changed due to feedback I've received.

Good luck!

Best regards Steve
