I need a Easily Modifiable Blender Character made with Rigify and Properly exports to Unity 3D.
The main thing is I would be able to swap the Head, Chest/Pelvis, Arms, Legs, Hands, Feet out to make new character Races, Monsters etc besides Human. But all Humanoid and using the same Rig.
In other words It would be a modular character with swappable parts. Each new piece would need to be differerent geometry with different texture map.
Think of it like Lego characters.
The Pieces do not need to be connected but they need to properly animate with the bones.
Also I just need 4 simple animations a Walk Cycle, Sword Swing, and Holding up a Wand, fall down Death.
You must be able to complete all 4 tasks
1) Modular Character in Blender using Rigify
2) UV Map the parts to one texture each (separate so not dependencies)
4) Exports to Unity properly.
I tried to do this myself but its a bit too technical and I am more of a programmer. The problem is that I dont know how to paint the weights and attach the model pieces properly. I just get warps on the resulting Rig.
I have included my blend file for tweaking. Feel free to make the pieces better looking or more functional.
The character required is just lowpoly and Chibi Style (Big head, Child like).
