We are well-funded start-up in mobile payments industry and we are looking to add a Project Manager to our team. Our ideal candidate will have successfully lead development teams to on-time and on-budget deliverables. He or she will have software architecture expertise and over 7 years of recent hands-on coding experience writing both web-based and installed client applications that are efficient, scalable, robust and extensible.
Besides the experience and skills listed below, we are looking for someone who is ambitious and has great leadership skills. This person will have direct management over all technical aspects of our offering including infrastructure, R&D, QA and production.
This person should be capable of recruiting and training engineers, manage projects, are autonomous and has the capability to take strategic decisions.
Must be proficient in C++/VC++ (multithreading, TCP/IP Socket programming, GUI applications), Objective-C and Java, .NET(C#)
Must have expertise in Mobile Application Design and development (IOS – iPhone SDK, Windows Mobile SDK)
Must be proficient in OOAD (Object Oriented Analysis & Design) & UML (Unified Modelling Language)
Must be familiar with both Agile and traditional development processes
Must be trained in Project Management
Must have at least 7 years of experience with at least 2-3 years of experience in software development for payments industry
Must be willing to travel in South East Asia, Japan and Europe for short-term assignments
