HTML/CSS Update For Tournament Bracket Page
Closed - This job posting has been filled.
We have a NCAA Division 1 Men's Basketball Tournament (a.k.a. March Madness) tournament plugin for WordPress. It works, today.
We need some minor HTML / CSS updates to the display page based on customer feedback.
Attached, please find: wordpress HTML, screenshot, relevant CSS files, and plugin install file.
If you choose to look at the plugin code, the necessary files are lib/bracketpress_display.php and includes/media/bracketpress_readonl
Please see attached screenshot for details. I have marked the areas we need control over.
Specifically, we need the following changes:
* We need to put text in the blue boxes: logo, blurb, etc.
* When someone loses, we need to put the winning team in the green boxes.
There are other updates as well, but the above two are critical.
* We'd like to put background images on the page for each team. That could be an HTML spot on the page (an extra <div>) or just a background to the current team class that is in there.
* it may be necessary to expand the size of the brackets.
If you understand / can translate the CSS to LESS or similar, that would be outstanding.
The system is written in wordpress, however if you deliver static, clean, well-formatted HTML I can chop up the code as necessary and translate to PHP.
Must work with all major browsers, including I.E.
We are a small company with a good track record on oDesk, and we love working with great people. Unfortunately posting, oDesk invites a lot of spam application.
Please open your proposal with the word BracketPress - so we know you read this sentence and have reviewed this page fully.
Make sure you give us the basic concept of how you intend to complete the project (is it all CSS based? Will we need to add new div's to the code?) and let us know you actually reviewed the project. A link to 2-3 relevant completed project would be awesome as well.
We're looking to get this project out the door as quickly as possible.
Thanks! and best of luck.
