We are a small entrepreneurial medical device company in Surrey BC looking for hands on IT Support Specialist. Our Company is a leader in providing hearing protection and communication devices to the industrial, commercial and retail sectors in North America.
We are experiencing substantial growth and need help to maintain and build the IT Infrastructure Roadmap.
We are looking for a part-time or contract IT Support & Service Specialist. This is a contract position to start and may evolve into a fulltime contract or role depending on the outcomes. As a IT Support Specialist you will help troubleshoot server and network issues. In addition you will maintain day to day system upgrades and updates. Some database management troubleshooting may be required.
Must have a Degree or Diploma in Computer Information Systems from a recognized technical institution.
Expertise in Network Infrastructure, Manufacturing ERP systems, Windows 2010, 2008/2003, Oracle, telephone voip systems (Nortel) and wireless devices.
Expertise in Database management – SQL – programming and Sage Sales Logix technology.
Knowledge of Visual Basics programming code is an asset
Analytical and problem solving skills are considered essential.
Excellent communications and interpersonal skills with experience leading a team.
At least 2-3 years management experience in a progressive IT environment
