    Look no further for an MS Access expert. I'll quickly understand your needs and deliver a powerful, intuitive solution. Stuck on a frustrating problem? I'll fix it--just read my reviews! Sure, those $12/hour offshore programmers are tempting, but we all know: you get what you pay for. I'll complete your project quickly and efficiently, and I'll still be here in 6 months--or 2 years--when you need a minor update. I've developed several enterprise Access solutions from customer specifications, converted and enhanced legacy systems, and written feature-rich, complex reports. In 15 years of experience, there is very little I have not done in Access! VBA, query writing, complex reports, interface design, import/export, interoperability: bring it on. Customers love working with me because I quickly understand their needs, and I speak to them in plain English instead of dazzling them with techno-babble. In my career I've linked MS Access to several ODBC back-ends, including health data systems, and of course every version of SQL.     Some developers like to do a little of everything (the ones with all of the acronyms after their names), but I think that makes it difficult to become an expert in one area. I love Access and that's all I want to do. When properly designed, Access is the fastest (and therefore the least expensive) tool to create desktop applications. I have over 13 years experience developing Access applications, and I have a lot of code already written in my personal library that can be reused on other projects, thus saving time and reducing errors. I prefer to develop Access Applications from scratch (with either an Access or SQL Server back-end database) -- that way, I can make sure it is done correctly from the beginning. I can also clean up applications created by others, and organize / import your data in a way that keeps everything connected. I understand database design and how information in one table relates to information in other tables. I can write complex VBA code (there isn't any problem I haven't been able to solve, one way or another, in Access). I can merge Access data with PDF reports, send emails through Outlook and post the entry in a Contact Log, import / export data to other applications such as Excel, and create Administrator screens that allow the Admins to configure the database (so you don't have to run back to the developer every time you want to make a simple change). My key skills include: • Excellent analysis skills. I have the ability to sort through information, identify key problems, and focus on effective solutions. • Adaptable communicator. Since I have worked as both a programmer and a business analyst, I can communicate effectively with stakeholders with various information needs. • Strong emphasis on customer service. I help customers identify what they want, and then deliver on time and under budget. • Effective project management skills. I focus on clearly identifying the requirements and documenting them in a way that the customer can understand. Then I develop the solution iteratively, allowing the customers an early view of the work so they can give early feedback, thus reducing miscommunication and lowering project costs.
