    My name is Anastasiia, and I want to use my good knowledge of languages by starting a career of translator or interptreter. I dont have an education in this field but Im sure that my life experience of travelling and working abroad is more important and useful. I want to tell you a little bit about how I've started to learn languages. I'm Ukrainian, that's why I have two native languages Ukrainian and Russian. Two years ago I went to study in Poland and this is how I became fluent in Polish. Finaly I was encouraged to create this profile by my boyfriend who is living with me now in Poland and who is English, and that is how I became fluent in English! I've already had an experience in translations, among my clients were my professors from universities but also friends and friends of my friends (so in fact random people for me). I have done translation / proofreading work related to various topics: humanities, technical writing, fine arts, electronics, gaming, history, movie subtitles, marketing, user's guides, GUI strings, websites, surveys, online tests, healgh (general), magazine articles, newsletters, reports, music, interviews, descriptions of products, sports, contracts & agreements, letters, food & wine industry, press releases, etc. In my view, there are several key elements to fruitful collaboration: -Provide accurate translations with the use of experience, research and tools -Maintain clear and reactive communication in all stages of work -Being flexible on rates, to accomodate clients' requirements -ALWAYS deliver the work on time!     I have been in the sales and marketing department of a refutable courier industry in the country which started as a greenhorn and easily pitted with the company giants dominating the industry. The work involved clients prospecting, increasing market share in the industry while significantly increasing the sales volume of the company locally making it a top earner. Under my management was customer servicing, principally complaints handling. I paved the way for creating more posts receiving courier contracts, whether individually and corporate. The advantage the company had was its tie-up with a company, servicing telecommunication needs and requirements and having clients operating on nationwide basis, resulting in coverage very widespread or pandemic to describe. I would want to work, having more or less the same set-up, purely dependent on electronics communication, so I can work on free time under a relaxed and no stress home environment and also subjected to less if not minimal supervision, if that can be done possible. My communications skill can be described as excellent in that I have been engaging in leisure writing as a hobby for years now, whenever I go online browsing and joining sites with this objective and so-called find your friends backdrop.  less

    For a brief background, I have studied two years of university studies at Curtin University majoring in Business Administration. In line with this, I also studied three years of university studies in the Philippines with the same major before migrating to Australia. For my working experience, I had more than four years of experience on being a accounts administration clerk for a visual communications manufacturing company. Compared to my other experiences, I have chosen the admin path as this is my main field in university. One of the main responsibilities I had was customer service. I answer calls for the accounts department and answer general accounts receivable queries. Tasks such as invoice/statement copy requests, amount owing, and unknown account balances. I also call customers with regards for unknown balances on their accounts. I was also tasked to process return credit authorities (RCAs) for our clients. In line with that I also process warranty claims for clients on certain product range. My daily tasks are most composed of data entry. Tasks such as input of daily payments received for accounts receivables, input of invoices and other payments for accounts payable. With these data entries, daily reports and task reports are needed to be done and filed for the financial controller and credit controller to review as needed. Daily cash and cheques banking are also part of my task. Sorting out mail and sending outgoing daily mail are part of my daily tasks. Regarding my other working experience, having five years of experience in fast food industry was also an essential training ground for me work ethic. The experience gave me how to be hard working and finding ways to be more efficient on the jobs and tasks I was given. Customer service is the main focus of my role for most of the time in food retail. As a store manager, my primary task related to this position is dealing with customers and liaising with contractors of the business via the telephone. Most customer encounters are face to face however, they are counted as verbal communication. I make sure that these undertakings are dealt with respect and formality to keep the customer loyal to the business. It has also been proven that yours truly has a good track record of keeping regular customers to the business due to good rapport. Data entry skills have also been required in my past experience. Daily, weekly and monthly sales and labour figures have to be entered into the system for payroll and reporting purposes. Managing store accounts has also been one of my duties. I make sure that all accounts are paid on time and have been sent to the head office. My previous employers used Microsoft Operating Systems and Microsoft office suites. I am currently learning more about Windows 7 and hopefully to get my hands on some Windows 8 OS to improve my skill set. In addition, I am also knowledgeable on a manufacturing program called QAD, which is another windows-based application. I currently have a 50wpm typing speed.  less
