    I started on oDesk in 2008 as a VA doing data entry for multiple listing service or MLS. After a year, I got an opportunity to implement Internet marketing strategies to promote Spanish learning products and affiliate sites. I learned site building on the job, some SEO and link building. Within and outside oDesk, more clients entrusted me with more exciting and new responsibilities mostly related to website development, Internet marketing, video marketing, web research, e-book design, editing, some SEO writing, some keyword research and link building. Usually I gained more from the information they shared to me and the experience. My more recent interest as a result of all these is building auto-blogs on Wordpress and monetizing them with Adsense/advertising and affiliate networks. Let me be clear that I do not design websites. I simply build, automate and monetize websites. I also have sufficient understanding of SEO and Internet marketing. So whatever program or programs you are in right now, time is of the essence, and based on my own experience, the learning curve will certainly stall the realization of your online ambition.
